Offered series types of shooting ranges

The shooting range consists of 2,5m wide, 2,5m internally high, 6m or 12 m long steel modules (depending on the size type). Screwed together all the modules constitute a compact structure providing various functions, among them, the crucial – shooting area and additional function, accompanying the fully professional tactical training shooting range.

We offer 8 sizes of shooting ranges varying in width and firing line length:

  1. MoST-5 – width of the shooting area: 5m and firing line lengths: 25, 50, 100 and 200m
  2. MoST-10 – width of the shooting area: 10m and firing line lengths: 25, 50, 100 and 200m

Modular construction of the shooting range provides the possibility to change the standard lengths for each size, by increasing or decreasing the number of modules, according to the request of purchaser. Additionally, the facility can be disassembled, relocated and installed in another location, within the randomly chosen moment of use. As the modules width is 2,5m, every change in modules quantity will result in length that is a multiplicity of the dimension 2,5m.

The construction of the shooting range

MoST shooting ranges are constructed of subsequent modules:

– logistic module,

– communication module,

– stands module,

– shooting modules,

– bullet trap module,

– ventilation module.

Modules that are exposed to firing impact, feature a frame construction, which is welded, cladded with suitable abrasion-resisting steel plates, resistant to bullet piercing. Modules are delivered on the installing site separately. It is important to put them on a levelled, hardened ground, and subsequently screwed together.

Having assembled the modules into one consistent entity, put elevation panels (of adequate thermal- and acoustic insulation) to the side walls and on the ceiling. At the moment when the facility is connected to the power supply system and the appropriate equipment units are fitted, the shooting range is ready for use.

Logistic module

The logistic module serves as a stand to control the shooting fire. There is a place for the training supervisor with a monitor to observe the preview of the shooting hall and devices to control the ventilation, lighting, sound systems and other appliances. The module is equipped with an armoured door class RC-4 in the external wall as well as a bullet proof in the wall between the logistic module and communication module. The window panes are of double side hardened glass (class P4). Moreover, there are devices class S1 to store the weapons and ammunition.

The configuration of the logistic module equipment can be executed according to the Customer’s request.

Communication module

The module provides communication between the logistic module and the stands module. The room contains an expansion chamber “Air Wall” delivering fresh air for the shooting area. The module is cladded with anti-ricochet panels from inside.

Ventilation module

This module is formed of two modules (joined together), each of them of width 2,5m – total width of 5m. At module length 6m (MoST-5) and 12m (MoST-10), there is sufficient area for filtering units and air-supply-extraction heat recovery unit. Filtering devices are equipped with a high-efficiency HEPA filters H13, capturing 99,95% of particles of size 0,3 mm. Those filtering units clean the indoor air, as well as the air discharged outside the facility, providing the unmatched air cleanness in such types of buildings. Except the unique air filtration system, the air-supply-extraction unit (delivering fresh air) contains a two-step heat recovery system, in a form of plate recuperation and heat pump. These solutions provide significant energy saving during the air heating in winter and cooling in summer. The automation of the applied system keeps constant indoor air parameters within the whole year. The applied ventilation-heating devices are energised electrically.

Stands module

There are secluded shooting compartments, separated with displaceable partition walls. There is a ceiling lighting and IP cameras above every shooting stand. On demand, at each stand is located a desktop to control the target conveyor. This module is cladded internally with anti-ricochet panels.

Shooting modules

They are of length 2,5m, forming with each other the entire shooting hall, of length of the firing lines: 25, 50, 100 and 200. Modules are internally cladded with anti-ricochet panels. On demand, the shooting hall can be equipped with mobile bullet traps. If the bullet traps are installed parallel to both the side walls, it is possible to guide fire within the angle 180º with bullets 9mm, 5.56mm and 7.62mm, except for armour piercing- and incendiary projectiles.

Bullet trap module

Is equipped with a granulated and bloc bullet trap, located within the whole width of the module. Additionally, in this module there are upper and lower connections to the ventilation system. The bullet trap module is internally cladded with anti-ricochet panels. Granulated bullet trap enables execution of approx.. 100 thousand shootings in each shooting line. After the periodical cleaning, the granulated bullet trap is appropriate for further use.

Ballistic equipment

Modern technical solutions, applied in MoST shooting ranges, enable both individual shooting trainings, as well as the training in pairs or operational teams, randomly configured depending on the User’s requirements. Due to the applied computer controls, the equipment options provide programming of numerous  configurations of shooting tasks.

The ballistic equipment includes:

  • main bullet trap,
  • anti-ricochet panels,
  • a system of movable targets (target conveyor, turntable, lift),
  • basic lighting, tactical- failure lighting,
  • audio system,
  • monitoring system.

MoST shooting ranges provide:

  • Shooting from the mobile firing lines, including the 7.62 NATO ammunition (9 mm, 5.56 mm, 7.62 mm bullets), within those – smoothbore shotgun ammunition included,
  • Maximum User’s safety, as the ricochet angles are reduced to below 13º,
  • Protection from fired bullets escaping the shooting range facility,
  • Service-free operation of the bullet traps throughout the firing one million of bullets,
  • Clean air within the shooting hall,
  • Neutral effect on the outdoor environment – no contamination and low noise.

System of mobile targets (target conveyor, turntable, lift)

Target conveyor features:

  • increased resistance to shooting impact,
  • step-less adjustment of speed – from 0 up to 13 m/s,
  • control possibility from the computer, tablet, laptop, control panel, touchpad, etc.,
  • possibility of programmable stopping, at a randomly requested place, with high accuracy,
  • silent and failure-free operation, due to high quality of the components.

Turntable features:

  • increased resistance to shooting impact,
  • step-less adjustment of rotation speed – within full 360º rotation,
  • possibility of equipping with an arm, with targets hiding behind an obstacle,
